Skull base consists of different parts such as brain, eyes and ears. Skull base in the lowest part that important parts such as brain, is placed there. 12 nerves including, smelling, taste, eyes movement, hearing, larynx, spinal cord and main vessels are connected with the brain. Any damages to this area can result in dead and paralysis.

Skull base surgery, is a non- invasive surgery which is used in examining, diagnosis and treatment of the benign tumors of the brain, spinal cord or skull base. This surgery also removes any congenital disorders.

Sinuses are empty cavities that are placed in the head, face and around the nose. Sinuses are full of mucus and leakage is exited, if these secretions become infected, or increased, there may be risk of sinusitis.   • Tampon is removed 3 days after surgery.
